استقبلت وزير الهجرة والمهجرين السيدة إيڨان فائق جابرو، اليوم الإثنين، سعادة سفير استراليا لدى العراق السيدة باولا إليزابيث، في مقر الوزارة وسط العاصمة بغداد.
وجرى خلال اللقاء، استعراض طبيعة العلاقة الثنائية التي تربط العراق واستراليا وعلى مختلف المستويات، وبحث أوضاع العائدين والنازحين المتواجدين داخل المخيمات وضرورة توفير احتياجاتهم بالتعاون مع المنظمات الدولية، فضلا عن مناقشة أوجه التعاون المشترك بين البلدين وإيجاد الحلول للمشاكل التي يعاني منها العراقيون المتواجدون في استراليا.
MOMD Minister is discussing with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq joint cooperation on the displaced and returnees
Today, Monday, the Minister of Migration and Displaced Mrs. Ivan Faiq Jabru, received the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Mrs. Paula Elizabeth, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
During the meeting, they reviewed the nature of the bilateral relationship between Iraq and Australia at various levels, and discussed the conditions of the returnees and the displaced in the camps and the need to provide for their needs in cooperation with international organizations, as well as discussing aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries and finding solutions to the problems that the Iraqis in Australia suffer from.
