التقت وزير الهجرة والمهجرين السيدة إيفان فائق جابرو ، صباح اليوم ، ممثلة اليونيسيف عن منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال افريقيا السيدة أديل خضر، وممثلة اليونسيف في العراق شيما سين جوبتا، في ديوان الوزارة بالعاصمة بغداد ، وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث آلية التعاون المشترك بين الوزارة والمنظمة لتنفيذ المشاريع التي من شأنها أن تدعم الاستقرار في مناطق العودة .
ورحبت السيدة الوزير بوفد اليونيسف، مثنية على كل ماتقدمه المنظمة من دعم ومساعدات خلال تنفيذ البرامج والأنشطة المختلفة داخل وخارج مخيمات النزوح في تبني مشاريع مستدامة ومنها برامج حماية المرأة والطفولة ودعم برنامج الحماية الإجتماعية والتنسيق المشترك مابين الشركاء في البرامج .
وأعربت السيدة أديل خضر عن سعادتها بالتعاون المشترك بين وزارة الهجرة ومنظمة اليونيسف في البرامج والأنشطة المختلفة التي تخدم النازحين والعائدين كونهم بحاجة ماسة لتقديم الخدمات الى حين غلق ملف النزوح .
MOMD Minister receives two UNICEF representatives to discuss supporting stabilization projects in the country mechanism for implementing support and stability projects in areas of return
The Minister of Migration and Displaced, Ms. lvan Faiq Jabru, met this morning, the UNICEF Representative for the Middle East and North Africa, Ms. Adele Khoder, and the UNICEF Representative in Iraq, Shima Sen Gupta, at the Ministry’s office in the capital, Baghdad. During the meeting, they discussed the mechanism of joint cooperation between the Ministry and the organization to implement projects which would support stability in the areas of return.
The Minister welcomed the UNICEF delegation for their visit to Iraq, praising all the support and assistance provided by the organization during the implementation of various programs and activities inside and outside the displacement camps in adopting sustainable projects, including programs for the protection of women and children, support for the social protection program, and joint coordination between partners in the programs.
Mrs. Adele Khodr expressed her happiness with the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Migration and UNICEF, with the various programs and activities that serve the displaced and returnees, as they are in dire need to provide services until the displacement file is closed.
